Privacy Policy — AL Scores

AL Scores shows Alabama high school football scores and schedules.

Guest use

You can use the app without an account. Favorites stay on the device only.

If you sign in

If you sign in with email/password, Google, or Sign in with Apple, we store your email, display name, user ID, and (Google only) profile photo URL, plus starred teams, in Google Firebase (Authentication + Firestore) so favorites sync across devices. Passwords are handled by Firebase, not stored by us in plain text.

Favorite-game alerts

If you sign in and turn Alerts on, we store an Expo push token on your account so we can notify this phone when a starred team's score changes or the game ends. Push tokens are used only for those favorite-game alerts. Guests do not receive alerts. Turn Alerts off in Profile to stop them. Delete account removes the token with your Firebase user.

What we do not collect

We do not collect precise location, contacts, or photos from your library unless you tap the profile circle to set a picture (v1 on Spark does not upload photos to Storage). There are no ads and no in-app purchases in this version.

Public sports information

Game scores and school names are public sports information, not student personal profiles.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell your information. Google (Firebase) and Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store) process data to provide those services.

Delete your account

Delete account is in Profile and removes your Firebase user and synced favorites.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13.
